Shipping Policies:

How is my order shipped?

Domestic orders are shipped through UPS, FedEx, and DHL Global Mail depending on shipping option chosen and weight. Some orders will be sent using USPS Priority Mail depending on the address it is being delivered to.

International orders are shipped through UPS, DHL Global Mail, or USPS Priority Mail depending on which shipping option chosen and weight.

How long until my order is shipped?

Processing times are approx. 2-4 business days from the day it is placed, the delivery time is on top of this time. During any sales, this processing time can be pushed to 6-7 business days, the delivery time is on top of this time. These times only apply to orders with standard shipping selected and do not apply if an expedited shipping option was chosen. If an expedited shipping option (4 Day Select/Express Saver, 2 Day Air/2 Day, Next Day Air/Standard Overnight) is chosen, and is ordered before 1 PM MST on Monday-Friday, the order will leave that business day. If ordered after 1 PM MST, or on Saturday or Sunday, the order will leave the following business day.

All of these processing times may vary depending on you providing us with incorrect info like an invalid shipping address, a PO box address, or different billing and shipping info. We cannot be held responsible for orders being delayed if proper information is not provided. Orders are never processed or shipped on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays as we are out of the office. All of these times are regular business hours, Monday-Friday 7 AM MST - 5:30 PM MST, excluding holidays.

Which shipping options can I choose from and how long do they take?

Domestic Orders:

  • Standard Shipping: This option is $6 flat rate for domestic orders under $50, and FREE for domestic order over $50, excluding Hawaii, Alaska and APO. Delivery time is approx. 5-7 business days after the day it leaves our warehouse.

  • Four Day Select/Express Saver: $24.00 for all orders with this option selected. Delivery time is 4 business days after the day it leaves our warehouse.

  • Second Day Air/2 Day: $30.00 for all orders with this option selected. Delivery time is 2 business days after the day it leaves our warehouse.

  • Next Day Air/Standard Overnight: $38.00 for all orders with this option selected. Delivery time is 1 business day from the day it leaves our warehouse.

All of these options include tracking. Shipping times exclude Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. This does not apply to Hawaii, Alaska, APO, or International orders. (Note: If you order with Next Day Air shipping on Friday before 1 pm MST, it will leave that Friday and you will have it the following Monday. If you order after 1 pm MST on Friday, it will leave the following Monday and you will have it the following Tuesday.)

International Orders:

  • DHL and USPS does not include tracking and is not insured and can take up to 5 weeks to get to you after the day it leaves our warehouse, normal processing times apply. The cost for USPS and DHL is $20-$42.95.

  • UPS is insured and trackable all the way to you and will take 5-7 business days to get to you after the day it leaves our warehouse, normal processing times apply. The flat rate shipping cost for UPS is $55.

All of these shipping costs DO NOT include duties and taxes that your country may charge you upon the arrival of your package.

Local Pickup:

All in store pickup orders can be picked up the day you order, or if ordered on Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday, can be picked up the next business day . You may come to our Warehouse Mon-Fri from 7:15 am - 5:15 pm. You may need to call if the door is locked. Please make sure to provide your receipt of purchase and a photo ID.

Order and Address Verification:

All orders are subject to needing credit card authorization and address verification before they leave our warehouse. We will call and email to make sure all orders are legitimate orders to protect our customers and our company from fraudulently placed orders. You can expect this to happen if you place an expedited order over $200, a standard over $300, or if your billing and shipping addresses do not match. We will not send out your order until we receive verbal confirmation that the order was legitimately placed and is authorized by the card holder.

We will also call and email you if your address is coming up as invalid in our system, or if you provide us with a PO box address and we are not able to send to it. We will not send out your order until we receive a response with a valid address to send your package to.

 

Modern Vintage Boutique is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages. Once your order leaves our warehouse, we are not responsible for its whereabouts. If you are a domestic customer and your package is lost or stolen, you must contact us and we will contact our shipping carrier and start an investigation. This can take up to 8 business days to have a result. If the shipping carrier is at fault, a claim will be filed. After the claim is filed by the shipping carrier, it can take 2-3 weeks for the claim to be received by us and for you to be compensated for your lost or stolen package. Packages are insured up to $100.

Please make sure you are providing us with a valid, safe address to have your package delivered to so you can assure its arrival.

If you are an international customer and your selected USPS or DHL, your package was not insured and there is nothing we can do about a lost or stolen package. If you chose UPS, the above information about lost package investigation and claim process does apply.

If you provide us with an incorrect address and your package is returned to sender, you will be charged the fee from the shipping carrier to get your package back, and a second shipping fee from us to reship your package back out to you with a correct address. We cannot be held responsible for these fees from the shipping carrier.
